Due to their intimate nature, there are restrictions on how mattresses can be treated with insecticides. That’s why Zoëcon offers gentle products that can be used in sensitive areas. To address bed bugs in a mattress, begin by removing infested bedding and vacuuming the mattress. After noting where bed bugs are located, apply either a dust, such as EcoPCO® D-X Dust Insecticide, or an aerosol to infested tufts, seams, folds and edges. Bed frames and box springs can be treated with a combination of Zenprox® EC and Gentrol® IGR Concentrate for long-term control. Do not saturate the mattress or apply product to flat edges where prolonged human contact will occur.
